Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.

Indeed, what I was saying is that it is often quite easy to criticize from afar when things are less real. The ability that some have to fall so quickly from the ivory towers of enlightened-superiority is stagering.

I truly, truly feel great sorrow for those lost in England. Having worked closely with british soldiers in the past, I have great affection for our allies across the pond.

Having said that, the degree of bashing that was posted on this board from some europeans/brits starting slightly before the Iraq war was disturbing. Further, this pompous bullshit about some greatness of their ilk being able to just shrug off terrorism because they have enured OOOOOOHHHhhhhhhhhh so much more of it than anyone could poooooosibly understand is nausiating. And now, suddenly, it all seems real (though I thought it was supposed to have been something to shrug off), and there is talk of guns and fighting back and people being shot on the "tube".

I empathize deeply with it, and offer my support. It is unfortunate that I find doing so is one sided.

Shot man not connected to bombing

Police have linked these men to the failed London bomb attacks
A man shot dead by police hunting the bombers behind Thursday's London attacks was unconnected to the incidents, police have confirmed.
A Scotland Yard statement said the shooting was a "tragedy" which was regretted by the Metropolitan Police.

The man was shot dead after police followed him from a south London flat to Stockwell Tube station on Friday.

Two other men have been arrested and are being questioned after bombers targeted three Tube trains and a bus.

The statement read: "We believe we now know the identity of the man shot at Stockwell Underground station by police on Friday 22nd July 2005, although he is still subject to formal identification.

"We are now satisfied that he was not connected with the incidents of Thursday 21st July 2005.

"For somebody to lose their life in such circumstances is a tragedy and one that the Metropolitan Police Service regrets."

The statement confirmed the man was followed by police from a block of flats that was under surveillance.

The man's death is being investigated by officers from the MPS Directorate of Professional Standards, and will be referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission.

Crosswind technique: "Using your peripheral vision, react to body movements, gasps, groans, and shouts from the other side of the cockpit, and always remember that it's better to be lucky than good."
