Windows XP: good or not?

Re: Windows XP: good or not?

I wasn't thinking of Norton AV (I think the best anti-virus tool ever created is not letting your wife/kids/parents touch your PC - no IO that way). I was asking about Norton SystemWorks (defrag, reg cleaner, windocter, etc). As I said, I'm no expert (but not an IO, if I might ad) and those tools help me a lot on maintanence.

It's secure from the harmful newbie hackers that try to send you sub7 or codered worms. Just use the same common sense you do with whores, that way you don't get any viruses.
The experienced hackers have no reason to hack ME. What would they want from me?

Probably BeOS or something is the most secure system, cuz nobody cares about it...
Linux is the most hacker loved system and windows is used by almost everyone.

BeOS is cool, it gives every multimedia task priority, so the FPS on Q3 (if it were made for BeOS) would be greater. MP3s can be encoded and decoded and played faster. DVDs and MPEGs are all faster. It's cool. If only software were made for these great OSes.

WTF moose, the thread "Windows XP good or not..." You need to have your moderator powers taken away, you abuse them. We should have a vote to elect a new moderator.

I have no idea what you're talking about Ideot. Maybe you could explain it again.
