Gettin a ti-92 finally

Postby James S » Feb 10, 2002 @ 12:03am

Ya, I downloaded an MP3 player for my TI-86, but with only 512KB's of space it isn't too useful, but still very cool. I also opened up my TI-86, overclocked it, and added an infrared port. Kick ass stuff you can do with these TI calculators.
My TI-86 has an equation auto solver with tons of other useful features, but the TI-89's and TI-92's you can just basically type in the entire problem and have it worked out on the calculator for you.

Cwhite, don't tell you me cheated on a standardized test. If I ever meet you in real life I will seriously beat your ass for that. That is just WRONG. I don't care if you cheated on your English tests or math homework, but a standardized test is the sacred equalizer of students. You have to go and ruin it! And you know they've curved those tests 200 points since their inception, so they've become EASIER. But you still have to cheat? What the hell is wrong with you? Just please tell me you didn't use any of the advanced functions of the calculator...

Ya, I took the SAT's when I was 12 as a parted of the Duke University TIP program. Damn was that testing room freezing! Atleast they've figured out now that they shouldn't turn the kids into ice sickles! But I still got national recognition for both vocabulary and math despite all of that.

No, that's a state required aptitude test.
My vocabulary has decreased sharply since I entered the public high school system. I was in a private school in elementary, middle, and junior high school and they really teach well. But if I speak properly in public school the other children usually don't understand me... and yes, they are still children.

Haha, that's funny because it's true!
At my former school I could insult other pupils without them even noticing it. Whenever I spoke in class the words I used had to be explained. That was a bit annoying, but made me feel intelligent :)

My guidance councellors are always mad at me because I skipped a year and it "caused more work" for them. One of them actually LECTURED me using those words. I just laughed at her.

Ya.. Nothing like insulting someone and then walking away only to see them get it a minute later :)

Ya.. I laughed at my teachers when they gave me vocab. want to have some fun? answer a teachers question before she's done ... especially when they were going to base there entire class lesson around it.

LOL! I just did that Wednesday in English class. The teacher thought she had this real difficult question and I could just sense the question coming and I rose my hand before she formed the words and answered. She didn't speak for a split second then just beamed like I was some brilliant kid. I thought it was pretty obvious, but everyone around me asked how I knew the answer, so meh.
And insulting people when they don't know it! I LOVE doing that. That's my favorite past time, next to counting how many times someone says "like" or "uh" or "and" when they're talking. *snicker*
