It's the whole 'self-aware' thing that makes it a problem.<br><br>You need to define AI in a way that covers what we consider intelligence.<br><br>There is a common explanation. Say you walk up to a wall with a hole in it and put in a piece of paper with writing on it (in english). Later, the paper comes back translated to Chinese. Does it matter if there is a computer inside, or if it is a person who can speak both languages, or if it is a person who has a translation book?
