I was thinking about that.. the only way you could make it is to use sprites and iso graphics (like Lemonaid Stand)

Wait for x-scale, then we will see what can really be done.

The graphics on The Sims aren't too intense, they're simplier than Sim City 2000.

moose, they are much more complicated than simcity 2000, the sims is the laggiest game i have ever played on my computer, i doubt it would stay 3d on a ppc...

that would be funny Warren, but on my 28.8 connections, i don't know. Maybe we could have a sim shot of the day, or run it on the servers here. i would pay 5$ for the bandwidth and buying the game. Talk to Chris, he might like the idea.

the hard part about the sims being cloned for the PPC is that they are very simple graphics, but they are on wireframes. its like putting a dress on a dressform.

i really think a sim like game is going to be coming to the PPC really soon.. on the current devices, we could maybe have one char at the most, and the rest NPC's.

And anyway.
