That poster is hilarious. The funny part is that it looks better than most of the posters for SGA stuff at my school  Damned clip art, I woulda put a picture of a Christmas Snail on there :D

That was his poster; if you want, I can scan his fliers and stickers...

Actually, almost all of the candidates for student council used stickers, but I still agree with you :)

I go to a public high school, those who are running for student council have the same sort of things: posters, stickers, candy. Anything to buy a vote. I think it is all sorta funny, because it's not like they do anything. Maybe plan a dance here and there, but nothing that effects me.

This is interesting, i had this same discussion at school yesterday. Great minds think alike i guess :D

The final voting day for SGA at my high school was yesterday. It started out when these peeps came up to our table. "Here take some candy....and vote for us" As they were walking to the next table, we wondered who to vote for  This SGA crap was made to give us students an enlightenment, a figurative sense of control which veils the truth, you don't really have much control over anything. Many also see it as "a way to take part in the school community". Bah, why vote for something that won't matter in the long run? Schools over in less than one month anyway. As for our dance/prom, its already been planned before our SGA has reconveined.

My middle school SGA actually does more than my high school SGA. Pathetic...
