Don't film it digitally. I've seen TV shows that do that and it looks all ugly and pixelated. I don't know of any plus sides to filming digitally although maybe it takes less time to set up special effects. :/

Calista Flockheart, a love interest in Indy4? This movie is going to suck. and Indiana Jones is the best set of movies ever!

i'm just amazed harrison ford got her. how the hell did he do that? hes like 60 and shes 30something.

i used to like ford but then i saw an interview with him and found that hes only doing it for the money. he doesnt seem to like acting, he just "doesnt not like it"... oh well.

digital film does not compress.. therefor it would not look "pixaly", dont forget that all those digital effects you see in film requires that the original film be converted to a digital image first. now in theaters, afaik they still use the mpeg2 compression (but way above that of dvd, they actually load like 4 dvd's onto a hard drive and run the movie from that) so there might be a chance in that haveing artifacts, but I would have thought they would have ironed those kinks out by now.

i heard if you're right up next to the screen you'll see slight glitches but no-one would sit there anyway.

the main problem that spielberg has with it is the colouring. apparently it looks different on digital film. i'm not sure if thats with digital projection or without though.

In theaters the largest part of projectors probably still is analog. In the end nearly everything will be digital, mostly because of easier replication/distribution of the movies.

About shooting digital or analog, there probably is a difference, but I wonder if a mere mortal would notice it, we need george lucas for that :)
