Okay don't make me start a new thread about anarchism and socialism and why they will never ever work. Why, you ask? It's a little thing called COMMON SENSE of HUMAN NATURE. Where are you gonna get money to give everyone equal protection in health care? The entire idea of our society, Capitalism, is that those who work hard and earn their money get better protection than those who don't. Everything is survival of the fittest. And if you don't like it, go back to the 1800's. Oh wait, it was the same then. Then go back to the 1600's. Oh, wait. Survival of the fittest. Back to the stone age it was survival of the fittest. I'd like to think we're upholding the tradition.
Okay so that was sarcastic. But people are always trying to convince me that if everyone got equal pay we'd all be better off. Well Mr. Idealist, whether you like it or not, people do kind things out of selfish motives. Medecines are discovered and formulated because you make a PROFIT. Doctors exist because they make good MONEY. You can not convince me that the world would be the same with all these doctors if you earned the same money flipping burgers. It just won't work. And anarchism. If you believe in that, you must be retarded.
I have a friend who claims to be a feminist (he's a guy though), and an anarchist, and he loves music. Tell me, in a society with no laws, who's gonna stop the girls from getting raped? "The smart ones will carry guns." What is gonna stop people from stealing music and ideas from others? No answer.
I fucking hate people who hate the US government cuz it's fashionable (cough paul cough warren).
[edit] Oh, and someone will always rise to power. He'll gain supporters, especially in this hellhole of a country, starved for laws, order, to stop the violence. He'll rise and be tyrannical. And then we'll be like Paul's motherland back in the day, with just about the same level of technology (everything's been destroyed of course).
The fates lead him who will;
Him who won't, they drag.
