Best scary movie

Let's not forget the classic "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" that was released in 1974. I saw this movie when it came out (I was 14 at the time) and it scared the bejezus out of me and my friends.

Some local college kids got arrested for running through the theater halfway through the movie with a running chainsaw (the chain was removed). People just about crapped in their boots. I wasn't in the theater for that, but it would have been a great touch of realism.
