Any of you read?

I just read Lord of the Rings, just because I wanted to know what happens in the movie before my friends do.

Orson Scott Card is an AMAZING author. ANYTHING by him is AMAZING. Read his Ender Series, starting with "Ender's Game." Absolutely amazing. And the "Pastwatch" by him, too. He's also started a women of the bible series. I had no idea he wrote stuff like that until about 6 months ago, so that's not why I like him. I've been reading his stuff for over 4 years now.

Wuthering Heights. You have to read that book. Paul would probably like it, too. It's the greatest classic novel ever.

Portrait of an Artist as a Young Man. If you haven't already read this book then you'll have to sometime in Highschool or college. Might as well get it out of the way. It's an okay book, didn't really like it. It kind of has the same feel that the beginning of A Beautiful Mind had, before Nash started halucinating for real into heavy FBI and CIA junk.

"How to Think like Leonard Da Vinci" is an amazing book, by Michael J. Gelb. It really teaches you how to live your life well.

I've kind of been wanting to get into the Left Behind series of books regarding the Rapture but it's not really Biblically accurate and kind of lame all around... I don't know about that. Christian books like that are stupid.

switched bodies? .. OH ya, in the... okay. I remember now. It's been a while since I read it.

Ya, I knew about 2 years ago that they were making a movie on it. I've been reading the script at www.hatrack.com
Those Alvin Maker books are good, too. But I haven't really gotten into them yet, just read the first one and I sped through it, loved it. But no desire to read the next, weird :?

Here, read the first three chapters in the latest Ender book: "Shadow Puppets"

I really didn't like Lost Boys at all, though. Not my kind of story line

I had no idea people read so much, but it looks like I'm not alone. I'm glad to hear it.

A little rudeness and disrespect can elevate a meaningless interaction to a battle of wills and add drama to an otherwise dull day.
