It makes my head hurt to think the way you do, sandmann.

I wouldn't worry about being "geekish" or about getting girls, Michael. You are only 13. Wait until your at least 17 or 18, becuase girlfriends before that age are pointless. It's like my dad used to say, "So now you have a girlfriend, what are going to do with her? Have kids? Get married?" and that's what it all boils down to.

In my opinion, before you start dating girls (and ultimately sleeping with them), you should be over 18, have a full time job, and be totally independant from your parents. If you are not any of these, then what's the point of having a girlfriend? If it's just to feed your hormones then that's dangerous and wrong. I personally would be very embarrased if I had a child while my parents were taking care of me, or I didn't have a job to support the mother and the child.

So you're saying we should just act like animals?

There are two things that set us apart from animals, 1) our marital custom and 2) our technology. Without number one we'd just be smart animals.

But I just don't see how I personally could perform that "ultimate act of love" (call me corny for saying that, but I don't care) with more than one woman in my life. And if I do do that, then I want to have already made the ultimate commitment to her, so there's no chance I'd wake up in the morning and see someone next to me that I'm not sure about.
