You know what pisses me off? How the media always says that teenagers today are going wild with having sex and everything, that's it's a widespread "epidemic". Umm, no. As I said before, at my school, the far majority of people have never been on a date, yeah, I'm sure that's a sexual epidemic... but what I'm pissed about is how teenagers in the 1950s and 1960s had sex 2 to 3 TIMES more than teenagers of today! WHAT HYPOCRISY! Our parents ran around in the meddows naked, frolicking and smoking and snorting everything, and we're cast into social order and widespread depression and monotony, and we have a sexual epidemic? Pfft.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I always hate it how people refer to the "good old times" (for many topics, not just this one) because they fail to remember all the bad details.

When you have memories of the past, you tend to gloss over it and be sentimental, usually without reason. It's human nature.
