Library Girl Thread

What the HELL are you talking about?

I'm being COMPLETELY serious: Why can't we all just get along!? Wouldn't this be a better place if we encouraged each other instead of trying to knock others down so one person feels better about him/herself? We'd all be HAPPY! We'd all have FUN! The needs of the many outway the needs of the one or few, paul. And if we all help each other we'll all feel better. Damn it, why the hell do we always have to be spiteful and antagonistic!? Just atleast be NICE from now on! I don't really care if you like or dislike me, but keep it to yourself. I want to get along with everyone now despite differences, it's just not worth fighting; we'll all feel worse off in the end if we do!

"The best thing about books is sometimes they have some fantastic pictures."
-George W. Bush

But if you're staring at her as much and as obviously as you say you've been, then she may think you're weird, especially since you haven't talked to her at all. I'd probably try to say something like "I know you've noticed me staring at you and that it probably bothers you, but I'm really sorry. I'll try my best to not stare at you anymore but it's really hard, you're really beautiful."
That would probably do something, atleast she'll think you're OK from then on. And that opens up the conversation for later if anything should be persuable.

There are plenty of fish out there. Just yesterday this one girl came up to me and said "you're SOS to me." It took me a while to figure it out (2 days, actually) and I thought it was quite juvenile, but there are always other possibilities. God closes doors for a reason, and he always opens new ones.

Okay, maybe it would be a good idea to not use a line that obvious. Keep em guessing a little, just hint at her lovely appearance instead of saying it. And make sure you're smiling or something.

But It will be a week before i get to see the girl I've been talking about, or the girl that used that 'SOS' line... so I'm kind of in quite an emotional lull right now :(

"But if you're staring at her as much and as obviously as you say you've been, then she may think you're weird, especially since you haven't talked to her at all."

thats what i was saying. funnily enough i've wanted to say "I know you've noticed me staring at you and that it probably bothers you, but I'm really sorry. I'll try my best to not stare at you anymore but it's really hard, you're really beautiful" to her for ages - and i dont think saying shes beautiful will do it.

just that i'm 'sorry' - although i'll probably end up saying something stupid. and really, i think the guy i've seen her with, although he seems to be her friend, would be better for her. i mean hes the tall dark handsome type and... (excuse me for saying this) "i want her to be happy"

what a waste of post 5000... oh well.

"It's clearly a budget. It's got a lot of numbers in it."
-George W. Bush

Ya, I think you openly complimenting her would be freaky to her. I don't know. It's all hopeless.

I was planning on stealing away the girl I've been talking about, but I found out her boyfriend is comparable to me in quite a few ways, so it will be hard to steal her away from the same to go to the same. I'm about to give u-... NO I'm NOT! Why would I even think that? Ugh. This new girl is really messing things up, even though I did like her for a little period of time, when the first she let me down once. Actually, I can't tell anymore if I did like her or not. But back to my real girl problem. Two nights ago I was having so much fun, but I just think so much about everything that I just lose it all. I'm really annoyed with myself.

I was so happy the other night that I had her watching me playing football from the sidelines occasionally (even complimented my skills a few times, but only casually) and NOTHING has changed since then so why am I not as happy?! I knew she had a boyfriend before! Damn, I wonder when she got him. It couldn't have been since before the summer, I just KNOW it! I was so confident that I could steal her but I'm not anymore, but NOTHING has changed. Damn school! I HATE school! She's also a really nice girl towards everyone, but I KNOW what nice is. I can't put everything she's said to me in that category. And why the hell did she ask me to that party and call me her 'man' to that one guy if she does just want to be friends. She wasn't saying it just to say it, she wanted me to hear it. Just like she wanted me to hear that she had an extra ticket to homecoming. DAMNIT! If I've had my chance and didn't realize it at the time them I'm going to kill myself. That homecoming thing must have been 3 or 4 months ago... She even called my house once to say sorry she wasn't going to be at Youth Group that she invited me to. Damn it, I'm going to be so angry with myself if I let my chance pass by!

My sense of smell is pretty bad, so I don't know what the girl I'm after smells like. No one's really ever complained on how I smell, nor commented, so I don't think odor is a problem, although just today in History, I ripped a good one (silent but deadly), and I could really smell that. The girl next to me said "Warren, did you fart?" (we were on the floor in groups working on a project) and I said "Well.., yeah." She just laughed and my friend next to me said "Oh yeah!" and ripped an audible one, very silly...

I was kind of planning on asking the girl I'm after out today for the third try. I've already gotten 2 strikes, and 3, I'm out, so this is a dangerous one. I guess I could have 4 strikes...or 5.... but hopefully I won't strike out. I didn't ask her today, I don't really know why, not enough time probably, to talk at all. She was wearing all black today, sooooo nice :-). Screw that other Eastern chic, je veux ma fille russe!! (I want my Russian chic). I just have to figure out how to ask her... I'd probably start by asking her if she's gotten over her "last boyfriend". And she'll hopefully say "yes! You free on Friday night?" or how Paul would put it, "YES! DO ME WARREN!". Why don't girls ask guys out, it would be soo much easier.
