E3 was fun because of the drinking, the few times that I went.
But it mainly just seems like an event for the companies to show off what they're supposed to be working on (instead of showing it off) --or what they already did in the last year, and give some excuses why we can't show you anything new yet.--for the press. Who then, in turn, regurgitate eveyrhting they were told that they saw (and withold what they were told they didn't see, when in actuality, they probably didn't anyway) to the public.
I'm going to GDC next week though, that's always entertaining.[/i]
