That's one part of the pyramid, Damian. Bother to read the rest of the thread and you'll see IRC isn't the only way I have come to my conclusion. That was a one-time deal that came up as a topic.
Also, being wiser than I am? I won't pretend that I'm wise in the least, but I will base life desicions off of observations that I make. I try not to decide much for myself; I take careful and extended periods of observing what people do and what has happened to them. This applies not only to dating and getting into relationships, but to many other aspects of my life, too. And no, IRC does not hardly factor into this equation at all. It's just the cherry on top.
