It took 267 pages of the Library Girl Thread, but it's finally worked. I asked out a girl today, and she said YES! So, here goes the story:
My high school career is nearing a close, and I refuse to go out without ever being once successful, so I began scanning but realized that I had really already asked out all of the girls I were interested in, except when I met this new one. She's new this year, actually, she's an exchange student from Mexico. Think of what a stereotypical Mexican looks like and that's her: black hair, brown skin. She's in my gym class which is a class that you can actually talk to people without having a nazi teacher yell at you, so I got to know her a bit (I just started gym this semester). She's fantastic, very funny (absolutely no bitchiness whatsoever!), extremely attractive (and no, I don't have a fetish for Mexicans...so this is not biased), awesome personality, and perfect bod

(she said to me that she eats a lot of potatoes because it shapes the butt, well, can't argue with results!), and actually quite intelligent (top 10%). If you're wondering, she speaks perfect English, actually does better than most in English class. So, and some deliberation, I decided to build up the cajones to ask her out. Well, the day I decided to (last week Friday), I pussied out, so I was pretty pissed at myself, but knew that I must do it. Then yesterday, I planned to, but she wasn't in school. Then today, there she was standing there at the net (we were playing soccer, and yes, she's excellent at soccer...mostly at shooting). So I went over and did it, first we started conversation about the cold (she can't take anything below 80*F, it's absolutely hilarious, it was about 40*F today and I thought it was so warm that I let her use my sweater), then I asked her if she'd like to hang out at the mall this weekend. She put on a nice smile (though she was frozen solid) and said yes! Ahhh, bout time! Yup, I'm da lady's man

.
And yes, it was brought up that an Israeli and a Mexican going to prom together will probably make history.
