Ordering a laptop for college

Isn't that resolution very hard to read? Is on my CRTs at least, never had an experience with LCDs before this laptop. I wish I had the higher res screen, but can't beat the price I suppose.

Have they found out anything about upgrading the video card yet, I heard it might be possible?

I actually find the resolution quite readable. It was a necessity as I need lots of screen space for all the apps I am running (VS6, VS.net 2k3, photoshop, etc). Iguess it just depends on what you're used to or how good your eyes are.

I dunno about upgrading the video card. Its supposedly modular in design but I havent heard any news about upgrading in a long time, so I doubt its possible. Its a shame, because a 9600 or 9700 mobile would be awesome to have in it.
