I don't talk about that stuff, but it's fun to listen to, Paul. Especially since most of it is hilariously stupid or unimportant. Jokes come from that kind of stuff, funny ones, that I make, that make everyone laugh.

They're called friends, Paul. You know, people your own age that you talk to and have fun with.

Paul, I never said I was a model of perfect social skills. I said two things.
1. You need social skills
2. If you never talk to anyone or do anything (with friends or otherwise) then you are lacking social skills. Maybe not completely, as that would be as impossible as going faster than light without, well, nm about that), but on the lower side, and that can hurt you. Many emplyers who hire computer engineers (using this carreer as an example) do a pretty good job of testing your social skills during the interview, without you knowing it (I've read over some of the questions). This is because they don't want a loaner, no matter how hard that person works. It is those who can communicate their ideas who become the most successful.

i can be 'social' in a work situtation. doesnt mean i'll want to go out with my colleagues after work.

who said anything about computer engineers anyway?
