Die, Palm, Die. If that offended you, then get rid of your Palm OS device.

I just got a shiny new TI-89 for cheap off ebay (well, my dad bought it for me for school, even though I have to pay for my own Pocket PCs). I think it has a Z80 chip in it...

I think it is.. it can be replaced with a faster one.. but you have to know how to solder and it voids your warrenty...

i bought a 89 a few years ago.. good calc, can't use it on alot of tests, its too good.

Talking about Casio BE's.. i hold it in the same regard that Robotbeat does Palm.. If your going to get a ppc, get a ppc. "But it fits in my pocket, and i can take notes and draw on it"... ya, i can also do that with a small etch-a-sketch. :)

ohh well.. i'll probably support BE's in my upcoming stuff, more money :)

It works on all the tests that I care about. I go to a private school, so we don't have "standardized testing", although we do have ACTs and stuff like that. It said it is allowed for that, so I decided to get it. Besides, it has a better display than any other TI calculator.

Can you really put a new cpu in it? I heard that you can overclock TI-86s, perhaps you can overclock an 89? Oh well.

You can do so much to TI-86's, I have one. You can overclock it 4 times as fast, install an infra-red port for data transfers (or to play Tetris two-player wirelessly so the teacher will never suspect anything), solar power, I forgot all that can be done to it, but it's seriously amazing what people have figured out.
