Yeah, there should be a link in the Read Me file under the faw (I think) for the XP nvidia patch.

well i played it. its okay but i prefer gta1. sorry to be old skool.

also, the graphics are crappy on my pc. slow, jerky, with a kind of shadow effect as if the screen isnt upfating right or something. maybe you guys have seen this too?

turn off trials in the options menu I dont know why the fuck they have that on defualt. I think the grpahics are ok. With that shitty trail effect its crap, but I just have that off .

A big performance hit can be the sound. With the default options (and a higher res) the game runs perfectly on my comp. If I turn on the special sound features that my sound card boasts about, however, the game will run good for a minute, then have like 2 minutes of chopyness, and repeate that cycle.

Here are my specs, anything close should run about the same.
600mhz athlon slot A
512 megs PC100 ram
GeForce3 (standard, not a ti)
Audigy XGamer

those specs can run the game just fine.

the trails effect is on everything. It makes the game look like shit, and all blurry. just turn it off

In GTA3, blame the horrid replay feature for your slowdowns.

You need a nice a car and then drive up beside them. I think that's how you do it.
