Me and some of my friends are going to have a demonstration on Saturday, I think. See my brother works at the local paper. This guy that owns a trailer house store thing decided that starting on Wednesday’s paper part of his ad will be separated from the rest to look like a separate part of the paper and feature his own section. Well this first section says stuff along the lines of the fact that liberals are tools of Satan and that there is no real Christian Liberal because they may think they are Christians because they believe in God, but Satan believes in God and he’s not a Christian. Well my brother refused to put this in the ad and after a lot of arguing his boss got pissed and made it herself. She claimed that it should be printed because of freedom of the press. (Which I think is BS because a paper can refuse to print whatever they want and this is going to border on hate speech.) So once it prints I think some friends and I are going to go make a demonstration outside this guys business. I know some of you guys, like Moose; believe that if you believe in Christ you will be accepted into heaven. Could you show me some bible passages backing this up? It would help me to argue against his liberals aren't Christians idea. Also does anyone know of a liberal that died in 9/11? Because it’s kinda hard to say someone that died in such a tragedy was a tool of Satan and is in hell.

Actually, I don't believe in a God at all, but as I feel I've led / am leading a broadly good and moral life I don't care.

If there is a God and I stand on his doorstep and he tells me I can't go to heaven because I wasn't a Christian then I'm quite happy to spit in his face and go somewhere else.

I am a christian but also feel that anyone that is good in live deserves a place in heaven. But this guys is kinda crazy so I need to trap him in his own misconceptions.

The only commandment that God taught was "love thy neighbor as thyself." This guy isn't loving anyone, but hating his fellow man.

LOL, those are all such trite excuses for being atheistic that it's laughable, hence me just laughing ... out loud.

God didn't make us to be robots. He doesn't intervene in our lives unless we ask Him to. I've asked Him to, and I've encountered no suffering. I don't have a single broken bone in my body, I have amazing friends, generous amounts of money, a loving girlfriend, I love my family, help everyone I meet even if it's just holding a door for them, I've been to a doctor twice in my life (only for immunizations). I'm not suffering by any means.

God made us because He wanted to, because He loved us before He even made us. We are the manifest fulfillment of His divine love.

The reason Christians try to convert others is because the need is imminent and because we care about you.

what about the christians who get raped, murdered, assaulted, lose their jobs, etc?
