I'm not sure how many of you guys are running off of Linksys wireless routers but let me tell you, I just upgraded to the current firmware for my WRT54G router and I get more distance and greater speed! I'm just happy so I think if any of you have a Linksys router to keep upgrading your firmware!

I have decided that I want to throw my laptop against the wall. I put WEP on the signal yet I still lose my signal with my laptop every few minutes. I thought WEP encryption would help me keep my signal but it doesent. Arew there any programs that will work better then what Windows has built in? It's very annoying having to sign on AIM every few minutes.

I've had a similar problem, except that it doesn't go off long enough for AIM to notice. Not sure what the problem is.

Trae: Already using that one. Most of the hacked firmware lets you up the signal strength.
