A close friend of my family was diagnosed with breastcancer earlier this year. Apparently it spread for a while before the docs found it.

A few hours ago we got a call from her. The only thing they can do for her now is remove both her breasts and pray they get all of it. Chemo or radiation isn't an option. The surgery is scheduled for the 24th this month.

We have high hopes that she'll recover, but you can never be sure with cancer.
