I start classes on Monday. For the past week, I've been watching a lot of news and become better acquainted with my roommates. I live with three Republicans. They like Bill O'Reilly. O'Reilly for Christ's sake!

Living with girls isn't as cool as you would think it would be. There are certain tradeoffs. In exchange for a clean house that smells nice, I have to be constantly on the ball when it comes to watching my manners ("don't use the f-word in my kitchen").

With most of my sentences weighing in at one word shorter, I can say things a tad faster, which is good, because it can be difficult to get a word in edge-wise with one of my roommates.

There's a reason why fraternities "work". It's all about pooling money to buy alcohol, and getting girls in who want to party for free. Sure, they [frat dudes] all seem like a bunch of noisy idiots, but there's some kind of subtle intellect going on there which I can bearly comprehend.

It's been about 100 degrees here in Chico, and my air conditioning isn't working right.

Don't get me wrong, my roommates are great--it's just going to be an adjustment.

When are you all heading back?

I moved in wednesday, classes start monday.

But yeah, I leave Wednesday, classes don't start until Sept. 13.

My classes start August 31. Which I find strangely early cause last year they didnt start untill like the second week of September.

I'm moving out to MA the 26th. Classes start the 1st of September. It's gonna be weird to be so far from home.
