Downlaoding... Personally I can't see the reason why people are so itnerested in Halo 2, if it's similar to part 1... I mean it probably was great when it got out, but thats a couple of years ago! Ah well, the movie will tell ;).

EDIT: Holy crap! I almost fell asleep by just watching that dude play (or at least try to) Halo2. I don't like the game already :P.

I don't see the big deal about Halo. It's niche was that it was a decent FPS for a console with no other games. Neither is the case nowadays. People are splooging about the graphics too, which makes even less sense.

[edit]Watched a bit of it, OH BOY STILL ONE DEATH ANIMATION! The level design is uninspiring, the textures are bland, plain, and generic, and the game still feels like molasses

Halo has a cult following. It was never a niche fps, it was and still is a full-blown phenominon(sp).
Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.

That doesn't mean it can't fill a niche market. Do you even know what it means?

Yes I know what it means.

It's no longer a niche fps, it's mainstream ever since the PC port.

Halo is the equivalent of GoldenEye in the last generation of consoles. It's large multiplayer capabilities and overall fun factor gives it a very general appeal. Mainstream is an understatement.

If your console shooter or any console game can be held up with the likes of Goldeneye, you've created a legend of a game.

Yeah but even Goldeneye had more than one death animation.

Since when does Halo not have more than one death animation? And, if you're picking on that as one of the reasons you don't like Halo 2, you're simply a fucking nit-picker who is TRYING to find something wrong.

To tell the truth I was just going off what sponge said about the one animation. It takes too long to download movies on my connection.
Not to say that Halo 1 or 2 is bad but Goldeneye will always be my fps (blind fanboyism).

Goldeneye is definitely one of my favorite games of all time. It had so much.

Anyone know where I can get the soundtrack to it? It had some of the coolest in game music.
