If for the past year the country is unsure about who will be president then all of a sudden we find out, people will start putting money into the stocks that they think will do good with that president running the country. We know Bush has no plan of pulling out of the war therefore buying stocks in defense companies will obviously be good.

It makes sense. That doesnt mean they will continue to rise as long as Bush is president.

The american people vote for bush because they can relate to him. He's a religious conservative with a knack for never saying the right thing. People like that he is so dumb that he can't confuse them with big 'word of the day calendar' words. The American people are content to have someone as ignorant and blindly patriotic as themselves to lead them. That's why Bush rules. He rules because people lap up his cute braindead looks and his tongue tied speeches. He's an everyman's man so to speak. Too bad he comes from a disgustingly rich background which afforded him every right that a layperson will never have, but he doesn't show it so people still love him. Go Bush.
