i just got mauled by a 30 pound cat. i was holdin it and the neighbors dog came in and barked, so the cat tried to climb my face like a tree. i have about 7 deep cuts on the back of my head, two claws stuck in my finger, 3 cuts on my right arm, two cuts in my neck, one cut in my chin, and multiple cuts all over my hands. I've taken 4 excedrin extra strengh. hopefully the throbbing will stop soon enough. this hurt more than the pellet gun at point-blank range... my head feels like its been hit with a claw hammer repeatedly then put halfway through a meat grinder. i lost all feeling in my hands, thus the lack of common punctuation marks.

The cat broke its claws in your hand?! This is something you should report to the police, same as a dangerous dog. If it does it to you, it could do it to a baby and should be put down.

Painful stories - erm, well, just before Christmas last year I got twatted off my bike and ended up bending the palm of my hand flat against my wrist. Didn't really hurt though, and even after having it set and a metal plate with 4 screws putting in, it wasn't especially painful.

Edit: Oh - you were holding it. Not sure that really applies now.

Ok. Pain. I had an incompetant dentist give me an anaesthetic injection badly, then expose a root nerve, and then bend a needle and inject anaesthetic directly into the exposed nerve. Trust me, it hurts.

It's either that or when I burnt my hand. Holding a hot metal kettle, lid fell off, scalding steam roasted my hand and I couldn't drop it 'cos I'd have burnt my legs/feet... Had scars there for a couple of years.
