What's a good, free program to resize pictures? It won't work in paint; I tried to change the size and it just cropped the picture.

Jesus people, get some decent editing software. Warez it if you have to, but don't use paint. Even my 5 year old neighbour twins use PSP 8 instead of paint..

And if you don't want to spend a single cent, you can always get - it has most of the features of a decent editing program and it's very easy on resources.

Using Paint makes Baby Jesus cry, an we wouldn't want that, would we? No. Didn't think so.

I use paint all the time to resize images and change their color depth / format. It does that very well.
