Crosswind technique: "Using your peripheral vision, react to body movements, gasps, groans, and shouts from the other side of the cockpit, and always remember that it's better to be lucky than good."

Electrovaya SC2200

1.4GHz Dothan
Up to 80GB HD
Up to 1280 Megs RAM
8 hour battery life
3.5 Pounds
ABG Wifi

http://www.electrovaya.com/product/sc2200.html

The Toshiba is definitely the Powerhouse of all the TabletPCs, but only because of its Geforce graphics and upgradeable to 1.6GHz Processor, which doesn't make a difference unless you play games. I would definitely suggest the Electrovaya Scribbler over the Toshiba, though, because of size and weight. The Toshiba has an SXGA screen, the only one that has that high a resolution screen. All the others are just 1280x1024, but that's always been enough for me, and I used to crank my desktop systems to 2048x1962. Scribbler in slate mode (it also comes with a detachable keyboard) is light, smart, and smooth. It's my Tablet of choice. Plus the Electrovaya screen is incredibly bright. ... and 8 HOURS of battery life, with WIFI on. It really last that long, that's not just an absurd speculation. It will last you a full day on one battery charge.

Screen protectors are a waste of money. I've had my Motion M1300 for two years now, and I use it every day in all of my classes. These things just don't get scratches.

Also, if the Electrovaya doesn't tickle your fancy, take a look at HP's new TabletPC that they just released last month. It's nearly as good as the Toshiba M200.

Righty, after going all over to place to find somewhere with one actually in stock (even Toshiba themselves didn't), I now have a Toshiba M200 being delivered to a UK address sometime next week. All I have to do now is arrange to get it shipped over here :)
