If anybody tries to call you square
You just look 'em in the eye, tell 'em you don't care!
If you don't want to be a crazy fool
You better study real hard and stay in school!

It's coming along as well as any new technology. Laptops themselves took nearly a decade to take a chunk out of any computer sales, now they're the majority of computer sales. Tablets are the same.

I think it's a bit different with tablets... For example, if you check out the asian Tablet PC (or palm/pocket pc for that matter...) market, it's close to zero. I guess people just want to stick with keyboards only :).

That's why there are hybrids (really neat by the way ;)), but that somehow isn't going that fast either. As talked about on a blog I read, people usually think Tablets are underpowered (speed/ram/etc.) and very expensive. Nowadays this, of course, is far from the truth.

Maybe it's a good thing though, enough sales to keep them around, yet not so much to get the 'cheaper the better!' shit we have right now with laptops. Now you still can feel 'elite' when you have a tablet ;).
