... am I supposed to afford a house? Ever? The average house price here is apparently now <a href="http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/ArticleNews/TPStory/LAC/20050928/RTICKERLUX28/TPInternational/Europe">$665,000</a>.

So depressed.

I'm getting married in one month, and we've begun the hunt for a home. Figure each of us is in the 6 digit range for income, yet we're still trying to figure out how the F we are going to buy a moderate home for 500K. Its just craziness.

Home sales dropped 9.9% in August.

House prices are amazing now. In this little desert I live in in Socal, my parents bought his house for $108,000. Now, 13 years later, it's worth $400-410,000.
