MMmmm. I don't own a PSP myself but I did heard about that program. I knwo it works, but then you maybe won't be able to play recent games if you downgrade to 1.5 ...
And since 2.0 has already been cracked (still not really alowing hombrew but hey, it'll come fast)

Well, most homebrew users probably aren't that interested in the normal games anyway. In fact, I don't think anybody is interested in the official games . Except for GTA of course...especially now that you can multiplayer with it...

I have a 2.0. Yeah, I know about the downgrader, but I'm not downgrading it since 2.0 will be cracked in a week anyway. It's not worth the (small) risk of bricking it at the moment. Besides, I like my wallpapers and browser.

It's possible to play 2.x games on a 1.5 PSP though; you need a little program called WAB version changer that'll fool the game into thinking it's a 2.0 PSP. Works great so I hear.

Yes, I'm also waiting for GTA. In fact, that and GT4 are the only games I'm waiting for.

I'm just gonna wait until Sony release a public dev kit if they ever do so. Perhaps we'll see more than just emulators.

Even though I don't own a PSP, I know that the new loader will make the new games think that you have 1.5 or 2 by simply changing some memory shits. I've read this somewhere from a good source.

Oh yea, those old memory shits. Change them and it'll play dreamcast games and you can plug in nintendo cartridges. That's what i heard, at least.

What's the official release date of GTA in europe anyway? It's oct. 14th in the USA right?

Oct 24th in the US.

I'll just wait and see if the game really is that good .

Besides, if I ever decide to get a PSP (again), it must be a very special one, not the 'old' black one .
