Dead Computer

Dead Computer

Postby Moose or Chuck » Aug 25, 2001 @ 11:36am

My computer keeps crashing! Every month or so my hard drive gets nearly completely wiped. I'm thinking it's because my computer is too fast, it shuts down Windows in the middle of saving all the files and clearing the swaps and temps. I heard about this happening before, somewhere else. Does anyone have any information on this or how I could prevent it?

Try a XT (if you ever got to know one). That was fast...

Hey Chuck, really? Can I have em? Are they working? I have a dead C128, upgraded from C64, so I could just plug the upgrade into the new one!

sarky? ... shoot?<br>What an unusual assortment of words! I don't even believe 'sarky' is a word.

Only if it runs WindowsRG. It's more stable than my OS.
