In July I purchased a Sony VAIO FZ11L from the Exeter Comet store for £799 (approximately $1600). I expected and paid for a premium product. From new it would crash when playing games, showing a Memory Parity Error.
Sony maintains that this is a software problem caused by Vista, and won't touch the machine. Comet believe that Sony's word is God. I'm stuck in the middle with a useless computer and no choice but to .
I've spent hours and hours on the phone to these people and they completely ignore me, so I'm at the last resort.
Hopefully it'll get fixed soon.
