At the spur of the moment I decided to start a blog. I guess the main reason for that is I'm experiencing a vacuum when it comes to my online life. PocketMatrix was always a major outlet for my writing. 5000 posts is a respective amount, especially considering that most of my posts had a decent amount of meat to them. I've gone through a few spells of contributing to Wikipedia. However I believe I've finally reached a permanent state of disillusionment with the "encyclopedia", which will result in only token future contributions on my part.
So, finding myself well opinionated and marginally adept at writing, I decided to start a blog to write about whatever tickles my fancy. So it is not a tech blog, or even a software development blog, but a selfish blog meant for me. I will probably update fairly often, because I find worthwhile topics jumping out at me on a pretty regular basis.
As far as readership goes, I don't even know what to expect. I'm sure that having a blog that is not topical certainly doesn't help. I guess I expect that individual entries might garner some recognition, as opposed to people subscribing to and reading what I have to say regularly.
I'll probably cheat every now and then. Like maybe whip up a new Pocket Quake build and announce it through my blog.
I've only got a handful of entries so far, which are as unrelated and disjointed from one another as possible.

I've set up a subdomain, which really should've taken affect by now but still doesn't work for me:

I'll probably have to have Chris check into the subdomain issue.
