Hi everyone, I ask you to dig up your first post here on PocketMatrix - just for the fun of seing how it all began. I'm quite sure you'll remember where you posted your first message, so find it and post it here!

I cant find mine right now, all I know is that I asked if there was a way to play real media files on pocketpcs. I believe that it got deleted during one of the many times pm moved to another server.
PS: The first one to reply was Jason. Thanks Jay! :-D

Mines not here. It was before the old YaBB forums were up so the post didn't transfer over.

i bet mine isn't here any more either but it was about needing help installing quake. Now don't think i am stupid it was a problem with activesync, it wouldn't let me copy and paste files over. I don't know how, maybe an update or something but the problem went away.

wow, now that i think about it i think i have been here almost a year..wow, at least 8 or 9 months

Posted: 14 Dec 2001 11:29 Post subject: Re: Semi-OT: PocketDoom?

I've already asked for the source code from jimmysoft, but they never reply to my emails.

Face it, jimmysoft will no longer make anything that they can't sell, and will not help anyone else in making anything else.

Why do i say this
*they never released their code
*jimmysoft never aswers posts in their message board
*i have never received a reply when i emailed them with ANY question.

Most people have a decent Doom port, but im a 720 owner. i would start from scratch, but the 820 version on their site works, but the display will not show properatly (for those that don't know, the 820 had a full size screen while the 720 has a half screen) i know a few tricks that could fix the size of the screen.

If anyone knows how to decompile a program, i would be very thankful.

My first post was lost over a year ago too. That was when PQ version 0.01 was released and PM's host pulled the plug on the server without warning because over 250,000 people visited the site in less than 48 hours. :)

I think it's a safe bet that my first post contained the words "Pocket" and "Quake". :D I think I was like the 30-something-th member of the original PM forums. That has all been lost forever though. :(

I was here about a day before PQ was released, and I was actually the FIRST person to register for the new forums, even before Matt could register I was there. I watched this site grow from obscurity and what do I have to show for it?

Well, I was the first one to register... and i think my post had something to do with "welcome"... Anyways.. that was wayy back... back when our site was really... really... really bright blue.. and our front page back then was stupid... now it's ok, but still sorta stupid.

And plenty of wasted time, apparently. There's no chip, just some indignance. I'm not sure if I'd call those white flakes on your shoulders chips, though, Paul.
