I haven't seen it myself, but I think that your culprit may be, dust mites. They live almost exclusively in dust and thrive in warm places. They are responsible for a lot of allergy cases in the whole world.

One small problem is though that they're not quite visible with the naked eye, so what you're seing is either a mutation or their nest.

I dunno, Luci, you're a doctor... what ya guys learned about dust mites?

Yeah it looks like a dust mite, but this is much bigger. It's about the size of this period . maybe smaller, i doubt I could even see it if it wasn't for the back light making him shine up. At first I thought it was a big spec of dust. Then I saw it move. Yikes!

Yeah it's a living crawling insect inside the screen I can see his little legs. My iPAQ is about 2-3 months old.

I wish I could video tape it somehow that would be funny.

Hey man compaq will replace it with a new one, they do it for me all the time, i bitch about dust to them around 1ce every 2 months and get a replacement. The warranty on these things rocks. I have yet to get a bug under the screen though, lol. Maybe kill it with like SprayDuster.
