85000? you yanks and your obsession with money...
so over there colleges pimp themselves to you for no reason? over here we choose six we're interested in and they get our results and say if they want us.

i got a 1250 on the SAT last year, without even having geometry yet...
that's what introduced me into the PPC world, my mom said i would get an ipaq if i got a 1250 or higher...she didn't think i would come close! and then of course i got a 1250 on the nose...

If I don't get at least a 1400 my parents will be pissed. I have the ability to get an A+ in everyone of my classes, yet I don't try but still easily get an A.
Also, we do send our scores to 5 college (I think). It is only when we aply though, do colleges tell us weather or not they are interested. (I am still really hoping to go to MIT

)

"Good at maths" and "having a personality" seems to be mutually exclusive, at least as far as my personal experiences are concerned...
Oh, I'll get a C again; it seems I don't work enough - or to be honest: I do nothing at all for school.
You could say I've got a quite bad attitude towards work

, but I'm satisfied as long as I don't have anything below C, and I still get A's in languages this way, so who cares?

I just took the English long essay MCAS (Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System) test today. It was easy, at least for me, you HAVE to pass it to graduate High School. It was a 5-paragraph essay (yes, I used paragraphs) about a character in a book's struggle with belief crap. Afterward, after 3 hours of constant writing, my hand felt so bad. I actually finished in the alotted time, while most people took the whole 3-6 hour time slot. I know I did good, duh, I'm hoping for a 6 out of 6. Or at least a 5. I take the real bigass test in late May, two weeks NONSTOP all day, 6 hours a day, that's a total of 60 hours. Yes, an insanely hard unfair 60 hour test that the teachers can't even pass themselves. And I have to pass it to graduate. The MCAS test has been rated as the most difficult standardized test in the US, and it is. I took it in 8th grade, and it's insane. Stupid Assachusetts (note I left out the M).
Here's my recent grades for 3rd term:
Algebra II H - 98%
English 10 - 96%
World History II - 98%
Biology H - 98%
French II H - 98%
Band - 94% (he gives everyone 94s)
That's a lot of 98s, I got a 100% in French every term, but not this one, I was pissed, but I can still get a total 100% average in French. This term was my best; look at Biology, the class average was a 63%.
