To be a celeb on PM you have alot of posts, or have contributed greatly to the PPC community.

My favorite PM celebrity is Dan East. He is probably the most patient and helpfull guy on PM. Plus he gave us Quake, Wolfenstein, and the famious Dexplor. The second choice was Phantom (aka Jacco). He gave us the first interactive AI for the PPC (Alice) and made a kick ass game from scratch called The Nutcracker. It was a tough decision, but in the end I chose Dan East, because he gave us QUAKE!

I could have entered in more selections in the poll, like simon jacobs creator of strageic assault, PDAFantast creator of much debated Palm emulator, Arisme porter of SCUMM, and a few others, but I felt that they were too "new" to PM to be Celebs yet. Snails is a awsome game, but since no one person was really responsible for its development, I left the creators out of the poll.

I never thought about it much, but I guess in a way there are alot of celebrities here.

I declined to vote, simply because everyone one of those people have done something for me, and more importantly something for the entire community. It's a choice I would hate to make. (yes, even Paul)

Whats even more wonderful is this group strikes a perfect balance and works together. There aren't power struggles or over inflated egos flying around.
