It slows down the performance on my cpu a fraction and taht fraction can be used to squeeze 5 extra frames or a small graphical bump up in games (I got a good system now, can always use a little speed up when playing on a 56k modem)
Never had a virus on the two Windows systems I have owned. No virus software either. I just use my email account thats given by Starpower, or mail.com (more storage mem) Sorry if this pissed you off or anything
