I had Q3 and dumped it - and still play UT regularly after all this time.<br><br>I've known about the stuff in Unreal2 for quite some time, even the earliest screenshots were amazing. If I came to a decision on which engine to use when making an FPS, Unreal technology would be the first choice

Posted: Dec 11, 2001 @ 5:25pmThe only game I play anymore is Shattered Galaxy and Aliens Versus Predator 2. Both very fun, but not that graphical. SG is 2D like Starcraft, AvP2 uses the Lithtech OS, which isn't known for it's intense graphics. But that game sure is scary! I've jumped out of my seat on more than one occasion!

Posted: Dec 11, 2001 @ 5:40pmUT2 should be a kick, it'll be nice to upgrade the office lunch our from the original UT, which is what we still play.<br><br>But, then again I bought Baulder's Gate for PS2, so I don't know when I am going to see the light of day again...

Posted: Dec 11, 2001 @ 5:41pmI read a PCGamer review of that AvP2, and it is supposed to be quite scary. They gave it a good rating as well. I played the first one, it can raise the hair on your neck.

I play it with my son on occasion... you should try coopertive mode in the singleplayer game[s].<br><br>(yes there is a coopertive mode, but last I checked you had to hack some files)<br><br>Both AvP and AvP2 use the Lithtech ENGINE, not OS.
