I just want to say how much Avril Lavigne kicks ass. She's
damn hot, and her music is cool too. It's definitally a good alternative to my usual heavy metal. Michelle Branch is good, but not as good as Avril Lavigne. My sister has her CD, I'll be making a copy for myself

.
I'm not ashamed of listening to her music, she's good. One of my friends is OBSESSED with No Doubt, and I mean
OBSESSED! I'm not
obsessed about Avril, but she's just damn good, and SOOO damn hot! Anyway, that's it.

i need to learn "Feel like making Love" by Bad Company.. so i can play it to girls

I will have to say, I agree that Avril is pretty good. I personally like Michelle Branch alot more. She's hotter and has beter music all around. Avril has a very country voice if you think about it, yet she is tryign to rock it out all punk. I just wish that she had not come into the music scene as a soloist but with her band altogether as one group.

Michelle Branch

Geez, the only bands I've heard of, on this thread, are the Who and Bad Company.
[edit]...and Rammstein, I don't think that was there when I posted this message[/edit]

Metallica was good, before they became sellouts.

Okay I saw a mushroomhead video today. Fuckin freaks man. They're like, "oh man, people make fun of me, cuz I dress up like aliens and have like 12 people in a band." They should get a triangle and a finger cymbal (sp?) player, so they could rock it out. That would put them up to, what, 26 members?
Those bands are ridiculous and not talented. Why would you need like 8 guitars for a guitar part that would bore me to death after playing it once?
Anyway, my favorite band of all time would have to be Modest Mouse. Brock's vocals are genius, with intelligent lines mixed with an amazing voice. It takes some getting used to, but he can range from singing beautifully to singing out of key well, from a whiny voice to a sad voice, just incredible. And the guitar, bass, and drums meld together perfectly. Has to be one of the best executed bands of all time. For a sample of their wide range of music, get... Teeth Like God's Shoeshine, Dramamine, Tundra/Desert, and Trailer Trash. TLGS is just a work of genius, dramamine an incredible song, Tundra/Desert a near masterpiece, and Trailer Trash one of the most heartfelt songs I've ever heard (next to Jimmy Eat World's Hear You Me). I can't get enough of the band. It'll take some getting used to, but listen to them a few times, and you'll love it.
That girl whose name I can't spell tries to be all punk, she's a fuckin toolbox. What a poser.
If you guys were interested in hearing some of my guitar, I can send you some via AIM. Though, I must warn you, it's not a collection of three power chords slammed out by 8 guitars at once with screaming in the background. Sorry.
