I'm going to see Signs tonight and it's really freakin me out. My brother had the screener and watched it like 12 times. Every time he was so scared he was in tears, and he's this big manly guy. This is really freakin me out. And my girl isn't even gonna be there, she's out of town! Ack, freakin me out, freakin me out, freakin me out  I'm going to see it at 9:45, it will be after midnight when I get out, then I have to drive home alone in pitch black, no other cars are going to be on the road. This is really freakin me out, freakin me out!

ugh ugh... should I go, I already have the ticket for 9:45. My parents are going at 7:15 and then I won't have to drive home, nor alone, nor too dark. This movie is terrifying, I'm sorry if you think I'm some kind of HUGE wussy or something. And I've got to go to Orlando tomorrow morning, early in the morning. And I'm not a late night kind of person. This is really freakin me out.

Who else is going to see it tonight? Late, early? Tomorrow? Never? (freakin me out, freakin me out!)

okay, you're right, it's just a film... it's just a film... ... ... but it's gonna freak me out! And you have to sit with someone during a scary movie :(. Maybe I'll go with my family instead of with my friends.

hang on, are you saying you havent seen it before? you said you had. oh well.

i saw letterman last night - stayed up coz joaquin phoenix was on it. after about an hour of lettermans shitty shitty jokes and that bald twat with the keyboard, phoenix came on, talked about his sisters apartment and said "signs. out friday" then he left.

well for a start it wont get to ol' blighty til 13th september. friday the 13th i might add.

also, the cinema here is shit. the last time i went to a cinema it was the really cool one near my (hopefully) future university. but the one in my hometown is digusting.

besides, i hate watching films with people other than my dad. anyone else talks shit like "whos that?" "what just happened" "my phones ringing! hahaha!" and stuff.

GRR!!!

Ya, I hate stuff like that. And if you ever go to the movies with a girl and she brings a friend make sure you sit in between them or else they'll giggle constantly through the entire thing, I made that mistake.

Well, 6 hours till show time. I've still got quite a while to work up to it, I guess.

OT: Mapquest.com is really fun. I'm exploring the Hawaii by Satelite photo (). And if you look at my house in Florida my lawn forms a very distinct "A" in dead grass ... AHHH! Maybe it's a SIGN!

What is signs? I mean, I don't like road signs as much as the next guy, but a whole movie about them.

*day dreams

"Just when you thought it was safe to back out of the driveway. Just when you believed that a drive down the road wouldn't hurt a thing. You saw them! They were thin and rectangular, and they demanded you go 35 mph. They are, the signs.

<little girl whispers>There are signs on the road </little girld whispers>

The signs will be enforced starting TODAY!"

Wow, that sounds scarry.

Paul, that was f***** grose. Please, warn me before you post something like that again. I had to look at it for a few, but after I realized what it was, my stomic got really queezy.

http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/Signs-1114791/

notice how the bad reviews are littered with shitty 'signs' jokes like "you might soon be looking for a sign. An EXIT sign, that is." and "The sign I discern hanging over his career at the moment reads Wrong Way."

at least ebert liked it. i like that guy.
