iBuyPower PC makes their computers with the lights, but I don't want that. I don't really want to build my own computer either, too lazy, and I'd like a warranty. Plus the Alienware computer I want is all color coded, and it looks so cool! I know plenty of people that made their own computer, and NONE of them work that well. One of my friends went through 3 motherboards and 2 processors before he could make his computer work, but he doesn't know anything about computers anyway, he's like "I want to be a game programmer when I grow up!" and I'm like "ok, then what does C++ mean?" "Umm, it's a language" "umm, it also means C + 1" "Umm, I don't care". Pfft, so many idiots want to become programmers and they don't even know anything.

Well, the computer that I want is this:
Alienware Aurora DDR
Dragon Full-Tower Case in Cyborg Green
AMD Athlon XP 2200+
ASUS A7N266 nVidia nForce Motherboard
Cooler Master DPS-7H53F Cooling System
512MB DDR SDRAM PC-2100
80Gb Western Digital UltraATA 7200RPM 8MB Cache
PlexCombo 20/10/40-12A CD-RW/DVD-ROM (I may get a DVD-RW instead, but can a DVD-RW burn CDs?)
nVidia GeForce4 Ti 4600 128Mb
KoolMaxx Video Cooling System
SoundBlaster Audigy 5.1 w/1394 (may go with the Audigy 5.1 Gamer)
Sony Trinitron E540 21" Monitor
Creative Inspire 5.1 5300 Surround Speakers
Microsoft Internet Keyboard in Cyborg Green
Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer USB 3.0 in Cyborg Green
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (is the Professional Edition worth the extra $61?)
FREE Alienware T-Shirt in Black!!!!
1 Year Onsite Warranty with Toll Free Number
Also comes with mousepad, benchmark test results, and a binder with all the info.

All for $2,600.00

I will also need a Firewall thingy for a home network.

Warren, your individual parts will have a warranty of course. But warrantys for the PC itself are useless, I haven't had a need for one in a while.

warren, that is basically what i have (cept for the monitor...i already have one) yet mine cost 900...anyway, you build that yourself and you can get it for 1500 easy. and most dvd burners do burn cds

and $61 is not worth it for professional

Warren, C++ is a language and C++ does mean c + 1.
