PocketMatrix

I finally got around to trying to put an avatar up for myself, but i am having problems. The image I am trying to use is 47x57, and 5.82 k, in jpeg format. But when I click to submit, it tells me that the image needs to be jpeg, gif, or png format. I don't understand, it IS jpeg.
Any help would be appreciated.
