The pocket pc benchmarkfest at tomshardware (yes, I know, not the best place, but oh well) shows the new ASUS pocket PC being the best overall, even faster than the 2nd place Loox. Not sure when/if you can buy it, but would be nice to know if those results extend to pocketquake.

TomsHardware is THE MOST reputable website I know of, let alone electronic oriented. Why on earth did you say it was not the best place?

Heres my results for the record:

Device: Razor Zayo
Turbo Mode On (400 mhz)
Advanced Performance Enhancement On

Demo 1

Right after a soft reset, FPS: 10.8

Could probably get 15 or higher with some tweaks :)

I assume those are PQ numbers... how's PQII? If those ARE PQII, what's PQ? 40?

Wow you're fast. How fast is PQII?

Oh, and why don't I get 10 on my Genio? Same specs... XScale 400 with turbo on... 8.2 FPS.

The Zayo is a very well designed device with specialized hardware. It's made by Asus, the best manufacturer of fast motherboards for desktop and laptop computers. It is because of their vast experience in this area that they are able to make a device that runs so much faster than others of the same spec. That 10.3FPS even runs faster than 206MHz StrongARM processors. If Dell can make nice motherboards for PocketPC's like Asus did then those will be amazing for the price they are!
