Sandmann, what would you have me do, as Christian? Say that 'no, Christianity doesn't hold the only truth and that any religion will get you into Heaven?' I'd be a pagan if I said that. How on earth are you going to disrespect my beliefs by telling me that I have to say other religions offer truth as well?! You're so stupid. Warren, ya you lost your window. If you had asked her sooner then maybe things would have been different, but there's no point in thinking about would haves and could have beens. You obviously don't like her much the way you criticize her and call her ugly, and then start talking about other hot girls that smile at you. I think it's time you forgot her as something more than just a friend.
Oh... and I said ORTHODOX JEW! You can be of the race/group-of-people known as Jew without being a religious Jew or Orthodox Jew. As I said in my post, I was refering to Orthodox Judaism.

And Warren, that was Epiphany, not Christmas. Epiphany is supposedly the day that the wisemen came and gave gifts, which is when we're supposed to give gifts but Americans aren't patient enough. It's also where the "12 Days of Christmas" song came from because Christmastide is the twelve days between the holidays celebrating Jesus' birth and the day the wisemen arrived to finally give him the gifts.
So in actuality, Christmas is 12 nights long, whereas Hannukah (sp?) is, what, 8 nights long (?). So Jews can't quit talking about Hannukah being better because it's longer, mmmkay... unless I'm mistaken about the number of days, but I do not believe I am since it stands for the number of days that the candle supplies miraculously lasted in the temple until the new supplies could be received during the ... Macabean Revolt (?) ... when the candles should have only lasted one night. That's also why Lutherans keep a candle burning in their sancturary at all times, to remember God's Holy and everlasting presence signified and coupled by the miracle of Hannukah (again, sp?).

Fucking A Moose, you COMPLETELY misinterpret EVERYTHING I said there. I said you cannot say that Christianity is absolute truth, because it simply IS NOT. No matter how much you want it to be or how hard you try to believe, it will never become true FACT. It may be an absolute faith and allegience in you but there is no SCIENTIFIC evidence. Your religion is no more of a FACT than any other. I am not saying you must denounce all of Christianity as lies, nor am I saying you must decree that anyone, no matter their religion, will get into Heaven (which I believe but that's another story). All I'm saying is you cannot say that all religions are stupid bullshit and have no value whatsoever while saying Christianity is absolute fact. Was that clear enough?

I am not stupid, I am not a bigot. But it's too bad you have resorted to name calling to try and put some substance behind an otherwise hollow argument.

Moose, did I ever say she was ugly? No, I said other people have called her that, but in my opinion, she obviously is not ugly, but quite the opposite.
And I DID ask her out, just as this stupid Milford kid thing started, and she just said the homework excuse...

Moose, I don't want to give up, really, because who else is there? And don't say "there's more fish the pond" crap, because at my school, there aren't. My school is tiny compared to others, about 300 students in my grade. Now that's ~150 girls in my grade, but because of the communication restraint, it's basically limited to girls in my classes. There are not many, in my physics and chemistry classes, the far majority of the students are guys, same in math. There's only 4-7 girls in my English class, out of about 20 people. My history class doesn't have many, maybe 10 out of 30. My physics class is the worst, about 7 out of over 35 (well, the hottest chic in the school is in my physics class, lol, all the junior guys are jealous of me for that, physics is a senior class). So my selection ain't that great; she's actually the only one on my list, so if it doesn't work out, then I don't know where to go.

Sandmann. I said other religions offer worldly truth and can help people in their lives. What I said was that Christianity offers the only spiritual truth.

Just a quick but uneloquent example. Other religions are all groovy and peace and all that, which is cool. Christianity goes to the root of the problem, though. Christianity doesn't teach pacifism, which is "unnatural" just like how you guys think refraining from sex and masterbation is "unnatural." Christianity teaches humility and respect

Warren. Enjoy highschool. Get over girls quickly and move on. I'm not saying be promiscuous. But high school is the only time in your life that you have so many girls in your proximity for such a sustained period of time that allows for even slight social interaction. College isn't like that. In college you gotta go out to the parties to socialize with any of the girls. You've got to get out and meet people, you're not just with them and in a way forced to socialize with them. In college and the real life you've got to make a true an earnest effort to get to know just about anyone.

i think the only reason i'm worried about not getting a girlfriend is what it'll look like, you know. but i think i'd be better off with no-one, i'm just not interested in that kind of thing, i'm not bothered about friends either, i only have... oh, i'd say two really... apart from you people but uh, i dunno if that counts.

i'm kind of liking this idea of living by myself, i prefer socialising in a class/work environment anyway - i get on with 'collegues' alright but having a gf would be too much.

i mean, theres no way i'm gonna find a pretty, intelligent girl who's shy and socially isolated (by purpose of course) like i am. its really impossible. so i'm giving up even thinking about it.

hey, - an effort to make the place nicer, since i wont have a gf to occupy my mind, i'm gonna focus on having a nice life alone...

tomorrow i'm getting a shitload of new clothes coz i look stupid right now, then i'm gonna get a bonsai tree which i've *always* wanted and then my ugc year-long cinema pass and i'm gonna TRY and learn a language... italian probably since its 'close to home'

so there you go, thats it. oh, moose, i still dont see how christianity is the ONLY one providing this spiritual truth. what does that mean? now, dont quote some passages or anything, tell me in PLAIN ENGLISH (the enemy of the christian)

I know exactly what you're saying Moose, go out with a ton of girls to get the experience. My mom wants me to ask out these girls that already have 15-20 boyfriends, just to get the experience. I don't know about that though...

As for drivin' down main street and pickin' up chics, well, I'd do that if I lived IN Boston, and it would work, guaranteed! But if I drive down the main street in my town, there's a better chance that I'll only see a bunch of cows, horses, and sheep instead of any girls...
