No there is no perfectly applied screen protector on the axim. There is just one to cover the screen during shipping or while it is packaged. It doesn't stay up on the device very long is about a centimeter too big for the screen on all sides.

I bought the 12-pack of screen protectors from dell. They have the tiny holes on them in a grid, but the corners are slightly raised, to make it easier to take off. The screen itself is flat with no holes.

I noticed that on my Axim, too. I believe its just the nature of the screen.
