beta4 works very fine on my 3950, the display orientation problem has gone. Good work, the game is simple but very playable!

But, uhm, there is no sound! You should add some simple noise and maybe a not too invasive soundtrack. If you need a free sound library for the ppc just click on the link below my sign

I have been very busy last few days. Ducklets now has sound thanks to gersen - yet to put credits in though :) I had stayed away from sound because it seemed too hard, but it only took my lunch hour today with hekkus. Also, I have updated the website, got a story line, added various things for gameplay, and tested on a few different devices.

Note for those who find it hard making, locating wav files for sound...check out this site (maybe there are others similar too):

The bugs mentioned by fast_rx and shapeshifter-baka: I will look into next week.

If you want to give it another go you can - beta 5 is available on the website. Thanks for everyone who has provided feedback.

Okay, I downloaded and played it a couple of days ago... here are my impressions:

* Game design is pretty solid. A nice quick action game... purty gfx
* Reloading is little more than a frustration. In arcade games (with the gun), reloading is done by shooting anywhere off screen. In ducklets, it's bothersome and frustrating to try and tap that little section, and I really don't even NOTICE the spot all the time. Just a note.. I don't like the reload system myself.
* Powerups are either too plentiful or too powerful :)
* It would be nice to have some sort of a way to build up chains... so when you click enough in a row fast enough, you get a higher score, bigger explosion (which can detonate those nearby it) or something.. I think that would add to the frenzy of the game.
* Upon exiting I got some sort of "Exception Error" on my Viewsonic PPC
I think it'll be a pretty fun game when it's done though :) Hope my suggestions aren't too negative...
