I was wrong about Christians using Saturnalia as cover while they celebrated Christ's birth, but I was right about Saturnalia being the precursor to modern Christmas. I am also right that the Romans conducted their census during the spring, mostly April. Jesus was born during the census, which leads me to believe that his true birth date is in the spring.
